The Eating Disorder Center has a regional mission and provides highly specialized care for patients with eating disorders. The operation is part of Region Skåne's national highly specialized care (NHV) for difficult-to-treat eating disorders. Here you will meet a workplace with long experience, high competence, and a strong focus on development. We are a total of about 40 employees in the professional categories of nurse, caregiver, social worker, psychologist, doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and medical secretary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will work in inpatient care on ward 5 and meet patients with various forms of eating disorder problems. The work is carried out in interdisciplinary teams where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for the patient's care and treatment. Our approach is motivating, structured, and supportive with a focus on change and recovery.

Your responsibilities include psychiatric nursing work such as assessing health status and nursing needs, support conversations, somatic checks, sampling, and EKG if needed. You will participate in care planning, be responsible for documentation in Melior, and supervise students. Educational meals and pre- and post-work around meals are a natural part of the work in inpatient care.

We offer a tailored introduction and good opportunities for support from experienced colleagues. There is also the possibility for further specialization in the area of eating disorders.

The working hours are scheduled with day and evening shifts as well as two weekends per six-week period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

It is an advantage if you have:

• specialist training in psychiatry
• experience working in psychiatric inpatient care
• experience working with patients with eating disorder problems
• training in CBT step 1.

As a person, you are secure, flexible, and proactive. You have a professional approach, focus on the patient, and find it easy to collaborate in a team while being able to work independently. Since the operation is characterized by change, you need to have good abilities in structure, planning, and overview. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
